I have Hp laptop with 1.8, 1 GB ram and intel 900 chipset...I installed vista beta 2 but aero theme not working ?

It is possible your notebooks video subsystem is not compatible with Aero/Flip3D, or your video drive may have crashed and Vista figured it might help to disable the cool stuff just in case. This happened to my desktop unit, but I could never get it going again. I ended up reinstalling the entire OS to get it back... but I am sure there is a better way. Good luck to ya!
